Renowned musician and cosmetics billionaire Robyn “Rihanna” Fenty is set to extend her Fenty Beauty brand into China, marking a significant expansion of her beauty empire. Starting April 1, the brand will be available in Sephora stores nationwide.

The announcement, made via a YouTube video, featured Rihanna alongside diverse models showcasing the products. It included a message to Chinese fans: “China, FentyFam, we are so inspired by you and how you use Fenty Beauty for all your gorgeous looks! Get ready! We are expanding in Sephora stores April 1, 2024.”

With a net worth of $1.4 billion, Rihanna continues to solidify her status as both a music powerhouse and a shrewd businesswoman. This strategic expansion underscores her ambition to solidify Fenty Beauty’s position as a global cosmetics leader.

Reports indicate that Fenty Beauty is already available in select Sephora stores in regions such as Hong Kong and Macau. The decision to expand into China follows its recent entry into the Indian market, underscoring Rihanna’s ambition to build a global beauty empire.

Rihanna’s entrepreneurial reach extends beyond the beauty sector. Notably, she revived her partnership with German sportswear giant Puma in May 2023. This collaboration yielded the Avanti sneaker line, which fuses Puma’s athletic legacy with Rihanna’s trend-setting style.

The relaunch of the Fenty x Puma collection underscores the enduring popularity of the collaboration. It seamlessly blends Puma’s athletic heritage with Rihanna’s signature style.  Returning to Puma, Rihanna expresses her enthusiasm for injecting fresh perspectives into the partnership, drawing from her experiences as both a mother and businesswoman.
