Trailer Tuesday: ‘Gladiator 2’

When Gladiator first hit cinemas it was a global phenomenon, now twenty four years later a sequel is heading for theaters. Glory to Rome. Do you think this will become the next reigning picture of the box office?

Gladiator II is an upcoming epic historical drama film directed and co-produced by Ridley Scott. The story follows Lucius, the former heir to the Roman Empire, who becomes a gladiator after his home is invaded by the Roman army, led by general Marcus Acacius, during the reign of co-emperors Caracalla and Geta. Serving as a sequel to Gladiator, the film was written by David Scarpa, from a story by Peter Craig and Scarpa. Gladiator II stars Paul Mescal, Pedro Pascal, Connie Nielsen, May Calamawy and Denzel Washington. What do you think? Are you thrilled for this epic to come to cinemas?
