The Network, a free, ad-supported streaming platform, that focuses on curating exclusive premium originals, announced the acquisition of ‘Kingdom of Dreams’ the thrilling docu-series produced by award-winning production company, Misfits Entertainment, in collaboration with Fremantle.
Available for streaming starting Thursday, September 15, 2024, as a Network Original, ‘Kingdom of Dreams’ tells the story of high fashion from the early 1990s to the 2010s in a four-part series showcasing how young and astonishing international visionaries such as John Galliano, Alexander McQueen, Marc Jacobs and Tom Ford came to be the most famous designers of the era.
Viewers are taken through the tough journey to succeed as top designers while being pushed to the edge by the largest fashion conglomerates in the world using aggressive methods and hostile takeovers to dominate the global fashion market. The show uses rare library material, never-before-seen personal archives and story-driven interviews.
Misfits Entertainment’s Ian Bonhôte and Peter Ettedgui are the creators and executive producers of ‘Kingdom of Dreams’. They are also the masterminds behind the BAFTA-nominated ‘McQueen’ and ‘Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve story’ set to have its worldwide theatrical release in September 2024.
