‘Superman’ Leaks Reveal BTS Look At Fight Scene For James Gunn’s DCU Movie

On Saturday, the first look at the LuthorCorp logo was revealed, and today a stunt rehearsal video from the Cleveland, Ohio set of James Gunn’s Superman production surfaced online.

Shot on location in Headlands Beach State Park, the following video shows some practice fighting between various stunt people as they prep and rehearse some choreography. The kicker is that towards the end, about 15 seconds into the video, an individual who looks like David Corsenswet enters the frame. Is that Superman himself rehearsing? Check out the embed.

What to expect from James Gunn’s Superman movie

Superman is a much-anticipated project, given that Clark Kent has been an integral part of the DC Universe for over 80 years, with various iterations and adaptations across different media. The movie promises to explore the character’s origins and his struggles to balance his dual identities as Clark and Superman while fighting off villains and saving the world.

Superman is being written and directed by James Gunn. The star-studded Superman cast includes David Corenswet as Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, Edi Gathegi as Mister Terrific, Nathan Fillion as the Guy Gardner version of Green Lantern, Anthony Carrigan as Metamorpho, Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor, and many others.

In a world where anything and everything can be leaked before a film releases, DC Studios co-heads James Gunn and Peter Safran likely want to get ahead of the curve by revealing things on their own terms.

Earlier on Sunday, we revealed that although the upcoming San Diego Comic Con is out of the question due to special effects not being ready in time, the studio is reportedly eyeing the Brazilian Comic Con CCXP later this year for the first official trailer release. It looks like DC is sending Creature Commandos and The Penguin to the annual geek fest in San Diego next month.

Superman is currently scheduled to hit theaters on July 11, 2025.
